Seasons Greetings from NOVELL Redesign

On behalf of the entire NOVELL Redesign team, we wish you a very happy and safe holiday period, and all the very best for 2022.

As the year winds down it gives us a chance to stop and reflect on the year that has been.

2021 has undoubtedly been an interesting year for us all, but NOVELL Redesign has pulled together as a community and achieved some really fantastic things together. Among the key highlights this year, we’ve:

• grown our partnerships and co-researcher base

• been able to share the NOVELL Redesign project with the world through a series of international keynotes and workshops

• published academic papers on the importance of healthcare design, and on the design of stroke rehabilitation environments

• grown our core research team at the Florey

• distilled the many rich contributions from the Stage 1 blue-sky thinking workshops, and rigorously prioritised these from different stakeholder perspectives

• generated the beginnings of some really exciting design briefs that will be taken forward, and

• mapped out an exciting program of work for Stage 2.

We are looking forward to the new year, and to continuing to reimagine what stroke rehabilitation environments can be.
